It’s not very often I get excited about plants.

But then again, it’s not every day I discover an insane forest filled with giant, fluorescent trees.

As I was scrolling through Instagram the other day, I came across a snapshot that instantly gave me a serious case of wanderlust.

It was a photo of someone posing in the middle of Gardens by the Bay, a nature reserve in Singapore that’s anything but a boring, old botanical garden.

No really, you might want to brace yourself for some serious travel FOMO.

I’m about to take you on a visual journey through a land that looks like something straight out of an adventure-packed sci-fi movie… minus the cheesy alien creatures and bad acting.

Take a step inside this surreal sanctuary and you’ll find a sprawling display of flora and futuristic architecture that is simply out of this world.

The park contains the world’s largest greenhouse and an exhibit that lets you walk amidst the clouds, as well as Supertree Grove, featuring gigantic, glowing trees.

Plus, this place is a gold mine for some impressive travel selfies.See for yourself, below.

It may look like a scene straight out of the movie “Avatar”…

But don’t be fooled…

This lush locale is right here on planet Earth…

…in Singapore, to be exact.

It’s called Gardens by the Bay…

…and it’s filled with all sorts of botanical wonders.

Inside you’ll find hundreds of blooms encased in the world’s largest greenhouse…

…as well as Cloud Forest, which showcases tropical highland plants amidsta 115-foot-tall mountain and the worlds tallest indoor waterfall.

Not to mention Supertree Grove, a space filled with badass, futuristic trees over 160-feet-tall!

If that’s not impressive enough, these insane “supertrees” are covered in approximately 162,900 beautiful bromeliads, orchids, ferns and tropical flowering climbers.

Plus, you can see the colorful canopy up close, thanks to an epic skywalk that meanders through the towering trees.

But the real show starts once the sun goes down and the futuristic flora come to lifein a brilliant display of lights and sounds.

I mean, seriously, just look at these things!

These intricate trees merge Mother Nature with the marvels of modern architecture…

…and are a true masterpiece.

Plus, the skyscrapers looming in the background make this beguiling botanical garden even more surreal.

If you’re looking for me… I’ll be on the next plane to Singapore.
