Exhausted Mom Is So Busy With The Kids, She Doesnt Notice Dad Grabbed The Camera

Sophia Cachia is the mom and maven behind the popular Australian blog The Young Mummy.

Her relatable blog is all about the ups, downs, and craziness of being a young mom to two little ones. She has a toddler named Bobby and a newborn daughter named Florence. She is always the first mom in line to confront the crazy, blissful chaos of parenting.

Not long ago, she made a major splash with a photo she took of her son interrupting her on the toilet, an experience every mom is familiar with.

She was heavily pregnant at the time with her baby daughter. Now that she has two kiddos, the challenges of parenting are only getting more complicated.

Fortunately, her husband Jaryd is there every step of the way, including feeding, burping, and diaper explosions. He’s also there to capture beautiful moments that Mom may not have time to slow down for.

Sophialoves that her husband is always ready with the camera, and is now urging other dads to do the same for the overworked, overtired mothers of their children.

Mom Sophia Cachia drew lots of attention on Facebook recently with a sweet post about her growing family. She has two little ones, whom she shares with husband Jaryd.

In all the chaos, she rarely gets to catch candid moments with the kids, so she thanks her husband for helping to capture them.

Her post spread far and wide, racking up 47,000 reactions and 63,000 shares across the web!

The photo in the post shows Sophia snuggled up on the couch with her toddler Bobby.

It’s a rare moment where the young mother isn’t caught up in the care of newborn Florence, so it’s especially precious to her.

Now that Bobby isn’t her one-and-only baby, the dynamic of their little family will change. That’s why she wants to preserve her sweet moments with Bobby whenever she gets them.

Of course, with two little kids, it can often be tough for a mom to take that minute to smell the roses before chaos erupts again.

Fortunately, Cachia’s husband Jaryd is often on hand to capture the candid moments before they slip away.

Besides, moms are often the official family photographers, meaning that they get left out of the picture from time to time.

Thanking her husband, Sophia writes:

Dear Men, take the photo.

Take the god damn photo.

We spend days capturing beautiful moments of you and the kids.

So whenever you see one of us with our babies, a beautiful candid moment, take the bloody god damn photo.

Cheers, Mums.
[Jaryd] nailed it.

It’s a very sweet moment betweenSophia and her eldest, but it’s also a good reminder for parents everywhere.

Nine times out of 10, moms are the ones who take the initiative to get pictures of the kids and record the cute moments they share with Dad.

That means that there are lots of sweet pics of Dad and the kids, but Mom is usually out of frame, behind the camera.

So here’s to spreading Sophia’s message far and wide.

Men of the world, step up and take pictures of your kids with their mom.

Someday, you will both love looking back on those moments and cherishing them for a lifetime.

If you agree with Sophia’s message, be sure toSHARE for every hardworking parent you know!
