Shannon McNamara was extremely anxious to see her daughter, Caroline, walk out in a wedding dress on Rachael Ray. Yes, every mom seems to share this emotional reaction when they first see their daughter in the sentimental garment, but this situation called for a few extra tears.

When her daughter first got engaged, Shannonwent looking for thewedding dress from her own special day that she’d tucked away. But when Shannonfinally opened the box that she thought containedthe prized possession, she came to a disturbing realization the dress in the box was not hers.

After what seemed to be an impossible journey, Mom finally hunted downher wedding dress and happily handedit over to her bride-to-be daughter.
