Bride Marries Man In A Wheelchair, But At Their Wedding She Sees Him Stand

Thirteen years before his wedding day, Kevin Taylor broke his leg. It seemed like an ordinary injury until he developed a debilitating nerve disorder called reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome, or RSD.

It was one of the worst cases of RSD his doctors had ever seen. Kevin had to have his leg amputated.

Things weren’t going well for Kevin until he met Kim. He describes their first encounter as a classic case of love at first sight.

Kim didn’t treat Kevin like he was in a wheelchair or hada disability. She saysall she noticed was the great man he isinside.

Its the person inside, not who they are physically and his heart makes up for any lack of limb that he has,” she says in the video below.

The two were soon engaged to be married in 2013, but months before the wedding, Kevin kept a huge secret from her.

The groom-to-be had been going behind her back to do physical therapy. All the work would culminate in something she could never have predicted: Kevin could walk again.

As Kim walks down the aisle, on already one of the best days of her life, suddenly she seesKevin stand up. He walks toward her and the loving couple holdsa tearful embrace. There isnary a dry eye in sight.
