8-Year-Old Starts Playing Train Station Piano, Then Looks Up And Realizes Hes Gained Audience

No one thought much of it when a boy, with neatly cropped flaxen hair and a serious expression behind the clean glass of his spectacles, scooched himself to the edge of the piano bench.

But as his delicate, pale hands began to flutter effortlessly across the glossy piano keys, the graceful melody froze people in their tracks.

Jay Lewington had been waiting with his mother in Londons international train station when he was tantalized by the Play Me, Im Yours sign on the stations piano and couldnt resist.

From his demeanor and talent one would think he was equipped with advanced classical training. But it turns out that this young prodigy learned everything he knows from YouTube.

As the notes rang out from Frdric Chopin’s ‘Fantaisie Impromptu people couldnt believe the talent of this unassuming 8-year old.

In fact, the beauty of his playing was so powerful that it brought one woman to tears. She later told the boys mother that he reminded her of her brother and tried to offer Jay a 10 pound note.

Completely transfixed on the motion of his hands, Jay continues playing for several more minutes. As he plucks the final note of his song, hes brought back to reality…and a group of admirers.

A crowd had gathered and was horse-shoed around him. With a bashful smirk and slight bow, he returned to his moms side as hes greeted with thunderous applauds from his new found fans.

For this young man, his talent touched the hearts of strangers, leaving a lasting memory. Feel free to share this video if you know someone who would also be inspired by Jay.
