To find a solution to this annoying oxidization, we tested ninedifferent ways of keeping avocados fresh, and we’re here to clue you in on what we found!
The ninetests we tried were:
- Submerge itin water.
- Store it without a pit.
- Brush itwith olive oil.
- Store itwith its pit still in.
- Store itwith an apple slice.
- Store itwith a lemon slice.
- Store itwith a lime slice.
- Store itwith a red onion slice.
- Store itwith a yellowonion slice.
After 48 hours in the fridge in their respective bags, we took the avocados out to see which was in the best shape.
