She Cuts An X In Pretty Paper, Then Glues It To A Mason Jar For A DIY Tissue Holder

Supplies

  • 4 Mason jars
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Sandpaper
  • Chicken wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Chalk
  • Industrial-strength glue
  • 2×4
  • 2 wood clamps
  • Drill
  • Pretty paper
  • Hot glue
  • Soap dispenser
  • Liquid hand soap
  • Shot glass
  • Cotton swabs
  • Cotton balls
  • X-Acto knife
  • Tissues

General Instructions

  1. Paint all 4 Mason jars
  2. Let Mason jars dry
  3. Once dry, sand jars for a more rustic look

Toothbrush Holder Instructions

  1. Place Mason jar lid on chicken wire
  2. Trace around lid
  3. Cut chicken wire in a circle the size of the lid
  4. Apply industrial-strength glue to interior of twist-on cap
  5. Press chicken wire into glue
  6. Screw lid onto Mason jar
  7. Place toothbrushes in

Soap Dispenser Instructions

  1. Clamp Mason jar lid to piece of wood
  2. Drill a hole in the center of the lid
  3. Trace lid onto pretty paper
  4. Cut paper to fit Mason jar lid
  5. Glue paper to top of lid
  6. Hot glue soap dispenser to lid
  7. Fill Mason jar with liquid hand soap
  8. Screw lid onto Mason jar

Cotton Swab AndCotton Ball Holder Instructions

  1. Fill Mason jar with cotton balls
  2. Place shot glass into top of jar
  3. Fill shot glass with cotton swabs

Tissue Dispenser

  1. Trace and cut pretty paper the size of lid
  2. Cut “X” into center of paper
  3. Hot glue paper to inside of jar cap
  4. Roll up stack of tissues
  5. Place tissue roll into Mason jar
  6. Screw lid onto Mason jar, pulling tissues through “X”
